Merchants should not levy additional fees/surcharges or set a minimum transaction amount to customers specifically for payments made through credit cards/debit cards.
If you encounter any instances where a merchant attempts to impose fees/surcharges or set minimum transaction amounts specifically for credit card/debit card payments, you may report the incident to our Customer Service at
03-5516 9988.
The Bank may move forward to take the required action with the merchant through the acquiring bank to discourage such practises in the future. However, this does not guarantee that the customer will receive a refund for the additional charges paid to the merchant.
